Congratulations! You Have Reached Level 70!
Finally. That’s all I can really say. After grinding the heck out of my one & only toon, he has finally hit the plateau that is 70.
A fury dwarven warrior, he now has his Ebon Gryphon, as well.
A few pics, and that’s it!
This is my first trip to 70… so pardon my giddy-ness.
I’ll Take the Brown One…
I’m a level 67, but I’m no millionaire. Today, I finally purchased the riding skill and my epic riding mount to go with it. It set me back quite a bit, but at least I have about 200G for repairs still.
I’m a dwarf, so we get to ride the fancy “rams,” and I purchased the [...]
My iPhone & Me, 6 Months Later.
I purchased my iPhone in mid-October, so it’s more like seven months, but whatever… we’re not here to split hairs.
I bought my 8G iPhone as a switchover from a Blackberry Curve, which in my opinion at the time, was a clunky, not-what-I-preferred type of device. It didn’t work well with my Mac-based lifestyle, my office [...]
Hubert, the Caffeinated Baby Hawkstrider!!!
Recently got a kick out of this:
Oh yea, happy Earth Day!
Holy Crap! Leaked Wrath of the Lich King Shots!
As I grind my Dwarven Warrior up to 70, to anxiously wait to grind him to 80, I check Massively, only to find some jaw-dropping leaked screenies (taken by camera and uploaded, I guess for authenticity purposes?) of the new expansion, Wrath of the Lich King.
They’re some great shots, even though they are from a [...]
Gravatars, 100% Functional!
One thing I love about my usage of the Hemingway theme, as well as the implementation of Wordpress 2.5, is the Gravatar support in the comments area.
If you’re registered at Gravatar.com, with your own personal image, any time you post a comment on the site, your little image is shown.
It isn’t anything major, but it [...]
We Do Our Time Like Pennies In a Jar…
I’ve had my Mac now for about 13 months… I had a kick-ass PC before hand, but was tired of having no abilities to lug it around (easily) to coffee shops, etc., and I was growing ever tired of Windows, and all of the crap that came along with it.
I was a faithful user of [...]
“Yea, They’ll Finish Last…”
I’ve never been one for nay-sayers, as I see myself as a “glass 1/2 full” kind of guy… Before the 2008 baseball season started, the “media” was “projecting” that since my Cardinals were in sort of a “rebuilding” year, that they’d surely totally suck and be in the cellar for the entire season.
Nobody predicted a [...]
Save Windows XP? Yes Please.
I’m a Mac user, plain & simple… But the company I work for, isn’t. So, I use Windows XP Professional (and Windows Server 2003) on a daily basis, and it works without one issue. I have the occasional failed update, or corrupted update, but you know what? Macs do too.
I have wanted to get a [...]
Hemingway for Wordpress Version 2.5
I’m a huge fan of the grid-based Wordpress theme: Hemingway.
It’s been tweaked/fixed/modified to work with the new WP version: 2.5.
I implemented it yesterday without much issue, but it has undergone heavy non-technical customization, to give it a quirky feel to it. I love the theme, and wanted to give credit to where it was due [...]
